Definition of Castrique V. Imrie
((1870), L. R. 4. H. L. 414.) A judgment of a foreign Court of competent jurisdiction unless obtained by fraud, operates as an estoppel against the party against whom it is given. An English Court will not act as a Court of Appeal from a foreign Court even on the ground of a mistake in law
