Provisions relating to consent in the German Criminal Code [1]: This criminal issue is covered by Chapter Seventeen, under the heading “Offences Against the Person,” located in Section 228 Consent, which reads: Whosoever causes bodily harm with the consent of the victim shall be deemed to act lawfully unless the act violates public policy, the consent notwithstanding.
