Description of G-3

The Concise Encyclopedia of the European Union describes g-3 in the following terms: [1] The idea, sometimes bruited by the Commission and other federalists, of a Group of Three – the EU, the USA and Japan – to replace the existing Group of Seven leading economic powers as the principal forum for global financial discussions.
