Provisions relating to robbery causing death in the German Criminal Code [1]: This criminal issue is covered by Chapter Twenty, under the heading “Robbery and Blackmail,” located in Section 251 Robbery causing death, which reads: If by the robbery (section 249 and section 250) the offender at least by gross negligence causes the death of another person the penalty shall be imprisonment for life or not less than ten years.
