Definition of Seduction

An action for damages may be brought by a parent or master for loss of services of his daughter or servant owing to her seduction and consequent illness. Where the daughter or servant is a consenting party, no action lies by her against the seducer. See Speight v. Olivicra; Terry v. Hutchinson
