Definition of Volunteer
(1) A person who gives his services without any express or implied promise of remuneration. He is not entitled to any compensation for injuries sustained by him. (2) A person who is an object of bounty under a will or settlement as opposed to one who gives valuable consideration. See Ellison v. Ellison
