Offences averred to have been committed contra paccm Domini Regis, coronam et dignitatem sit am (agauifet the peace of our Lord the King, his crown and dignity), which were triable only in the King’s Courts, as distinguished from offences which could be tried in the local Courts, e.g., the County Court.
