The right of a wife to have a settlement on herself of part of her equitable property, which her husband was claiming by suit in a Court of equity. See Elibank v. Montoliey ; Murray v. Elibank.
Since the Married Women’s Property Act, 1882, a married woman holds her property separately from her husband, and has no need to invoke this doctrine<\/p>\n<\/h4>\n
