Porter V. Freudenberg in Europe
Definition of Porter V. Freudenberg
([1915] 1 K. B. 857). Held, that an alien enemy is a person, of whatever nationality, who voluntarily resides or carries on business in enemy territory, or in territory in enemy occupation. An alien enemy is not entitled to sue, but may be sued, and can then appear and be heard in his defence, and if judgment be given against him he may appeal
