Habitual Criminal in Europe
Definition of Habitual Criminal
A person who, after attaining the age of sixteen years, has been three or more times convicted of certain crimes and who ifi proved to have been persistently leading a dishonest or criminal life. Such person may be sentenced to a term of preventive detention of from five to ten years to follow a sentence of penal servitude. (Prevention of Crimes Act, 1908.)
