Definition of Offer
An agreement consists essentially of an offer made by one party and an acceptance by the other. An offer is the offer of a promise (Anson). An offer may be withdrawn at any time before it has been unconditionally accepted : and if the person to whom an offer is made refuses it, or neglects to accept it within a reasonable time, it is deemed to be ut an end.
