Definition of Scandal
The allegation in pleading of anything unbecoming the dignity of the Court to hear, or contrary to good manners or which unnecessarily charges some person with crime or immorality. It is liable to be struck out. (Order XIX, r. 27; Order XXXVIII, r. 11; Order XXXI, r. 6.)
