Definition of Re-exchange
The damages which the holder of a bill of exchange sustains by its being dishonoured in a foreign country where it was made payable, calculated by finding the amount of English money it would take, on the day of dishonour in the place abroad, to purchase the sum payable there in foreign money, plus expenses
